Meet the Women on the Pause Team
Yulee Lee
Yulee serves as Chief Executive Officer at Khora Collective. Additionally, she is Chief Operating Officer of Stuff You Can Use, Guest Faculty Instructor at Wheaton College, Brand Ambassador for The Authentic Asian, and Founder of The Change Leadership Institute. She holds a PhD in organizational leadership from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a MPP from the University of Chicago. She and her husband, Dave, live in Orange County and have a son. You can find her at www.DrYuleeLee.com
Yulee loves spending time by herself and fully embraces being an extreme introvert. In her free moments, she enjoys visiting museums or getting lost in a good book. One thing that has surprised her in this season of life is her newfound love of travel. Although she used to hate flying, she now genuinely enjoys it and looks forward to exploring new places. These days, what brings her the most joy is spending time with her young adult son and cuddling with her beloved pup, Cubby. Those simple moments are what she treasures most.
Jenn Suen Chen
Jenn serves as Chief of Spiritual Formation at Khora Collective. Additionally, she is a Spiritual Director, Enneagram and Leadership Coach, Co-Director at Summit Clear and served as a church planter and regional leader for Pioneers for 25 years in Asia. She is a retreat speaker and IVP author of Dim Sum and Faith: How Our Stories Shape Our Souls. She has an MA from Biola University. She and husband, John, live in Seattle and have 7 adult children including 3 in-laws, and a granddaughter. You can find her at www.JennSuenChen.com.
When Jenn has free time she loves taking a walk with her husband John, meeting up for coffee with a friend, calling up one of her adult kids or inviting them onto an adventure, cuddling with her pup Mochi, or going over to her parents’ house for coffee. One thing that has surprised her in this season of open-nesting is that her home is still full of all the young adults from the church where she serves as a pastor. These days what is bringing her joy is laughing with John, time with her adult kids, reading stories to her grandbaby over FaceTime, teaching the Word to women and hearing how they are discovering what it means to be loved by God.
Joyce Koo Dalrymple
Joyce serves as Chief of Content and Engagement at Khora Collective. Additionally, she is the Director of the Center for Women in Ministry at Northern Seminary. She is the co-author of Redeeming Eden: How Women in the Bible Advance the Story of Salvation, and has written several Bible studies published by NavPress. She holds a JD from Boston College, MDiv from Metro Atlanta Seminary, and is a trained spiritual director. She and her husband, Tim, live in Philadelphia and have 3 daughters. Her favorite pastimes include yoga, writing poetry, and hiking with her dog Bailey.
When Joyce has free time, she loves hanging out with girlfriends, hiking with her dog Bailey, and listening to audio books (because she doesn’t like wearing readers). In this season, she is surprised by how much less sleep she needs and how she actually craves more alone-time (Joyce is an extrovert). The things that bring her joy are teaching the Word, and seeing women grow in their love for God and confidence in their identity in Christ.
Why We Started Women on the Pause
Because menopause isn't just a medical event—it's a life transition. And because we believe women need spaces where they can talk honestly, laugh freely, ask hard questions, and encourage one another in faith.
Most of all, we started this because friendship has shaped our lives. We hope that when you listen, read, and join the conversation, you'll feel like you're sitting at the table with friends.
